Ketan Mehta

Ketan Mehta joined Digicel in 2016 and for the past 7 years has been the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Digicel PNG.  In December 2023, Ketan moved to a dual role when he was also appointed as the Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Digicel PNG.   Previous to his dual role, Ketan held several leadership & strategic roles in Finance for over 2 decades in India and also in Africa from 2010 to 2015.

Ketan is a qualified Management Accountant (CIMA), Chartered Accountancy (ICAI) from India & a Member of CPA Australia.  In addition to his academic accomplishments, is his extensive and critical knowledge of the Telecommunications & E-Commerce Industries.  Ketan is deeply committed to assisting his teams in achieving their goals and the overall business objectives.  Coming from a developing country himself, Ketan is passionate about bridging the gap in telecommunications and the digital divide in PNG.  With the aim of achieving seamless communication for all, Ketan hopes to remove the telecommunication barriers which PNG communities are facing, through the development and deployment of innovative products, services and solutions allowing all to be connected to their wantoks and the rest of the world.
