What is Tenure?

Tenure is the number of years you have been a prepaid customer of Digicel. It begins from when your Digicel phone number was activated.

I am a postpaid customer; will I get points too?

No. The Rewards program is open to prepaid GSM customers only.

How will I know if I have received points?

You will receive a sms upon every successful recharge/topup. The following text message shall be delivered on every topup:

Congrats!!! You have earned 10 Reward Points. Click here to check your points balance and redeem your rewards. Topup by 20TOP or more to earn more points!

How many points will I get when I top up?

Instant Points are pre-defined and based on the dollar value of your top up. You receive Points for top up.

How do I check my points?

By checking either on My Digicel App under Digicel Rewards or by dialing *130#.

What are Rewards can be redeemed with the points I have?

Digicel is offering Reward plans that can be used for data plans and voice plans.

How can customers redeem their Reward Points?

To redeem a reward, visit the My Digicel App under Digicel Rewards.

How much balance do I need to have in my Rewards Wallet so I can redeem a reward?

The minimum Rewards Wallet balance that a customer must have is 50 points in order for the customer to redeem a reward plan.

Can I return the Reward Plan I chose to get my points back?

Once a reward plan has been selected, required points will be deducted from your Digicel Rewards balance. You will not be able to return the reward after that.

When can redemption take place?

Customers can redeem anytime during the month via the My Digicel App as long as there is sufficient reward points in the account.

Will my rewards balance expire?

Your points will expire in the following scenarios:

1.     If you do not top up your phone for 90 consecutive days.

2.     If you do not redeem your Reward points by the allocated time:

  • Bronze and Silver Tier customers will have their Points fully expire for points earned in any month if not redeemed within 3 months.

  • Gold and Platinum Tier customers will have their Points fully expire for points earned in any month if not redeemed within 6 months.

When will my Rewards Tier Change?

Rewards tier will change beginning of every month depending on the tenure and average monthly spend for the last 3 months, as per the table below:

If my account gets deactivated and I get another Digicel SIM, can I transfer my rewards balance to my new number?

No. Points are not transferable. Each Digicel number will accumulate points specific to that number and the particular customer.

If my account gets de-activated and I arrange to get the same number reactivated, what will happen to my rewards balance?

Once a sim gets deactivated, you will lose all Rewards balance. The points cannot be retained or transferred to the same or new number. To avoid deactivation, ensure to do a topup before your account expiry date.

I have two Digicel SIMs; can I combine points to redeem for rewards?

No. Each Digicel number will accumulate points specific to that number only.

Do I need to have 100% of points in my Points Account, so I can redeem a reward?

Yes. A prepaid customer needs to have sufficient points in their account to redeem a reward. For example, if a customer wishes to redeem a reward that requires 5,000 points, they need 5,000 or more points in their account. If the customer does not have enough points, they will not be able to redeem the reward.

What do I need to do to be an active Digicel customer?

To be an active Digicel customer you will need to:

  • Top up your Digicel number regularly; or

  • Use your real credit to make calls, send SMS, and use data or to opt into any Digicel plans. This activity needs to happen at least once in the month.

  1. Open to prepaid GSM customers only. Excludes Digicel Staff and postpaid customers.

  2. Reward points are subject to each instance of topup the customer does and the tier the customer belongs to.

  3. Example: a Bronze Tier customer will earn 2x the value of every topup done above $50.

4. Receiving real credit via Credit U/Me credit transfer and Credit Advance service usage will not earn points.

5. Rewards balance cannot be transferred to, shared between or pulled between different accounts. Each account will have its own points.

6. Upon redemption, the Rewards plan will be attached to the account automatically. Customers will receive a confirmation message on each successful or unsuccessful redemption.

7. Rewards plan have a 1- day,2-days or 3-days validity and will expire at the end of the 2nd or 3rd day without any rollover. Any unused value not used before the expiry will be lost.

8. Redemption of Rewards plan will deduct the required points from the account. Redeemed Rewards cannot be returned.

9. Digicel reserves the right to modify or update the program rules, mechanics, tier definitions, points calculations, expiry terms, reward structures, and any other elements of the Rewards Program at its discretion, without prior notice.
