Digicel Samoa Expands Mobile Network Through Continued Infrastructure Investment

Digicel Samoa today announced that over the past 18 months it has invested more than WST$22 million on its network.

The investment has included the deployment of additional mobile towers and network enhancements designed to strengthen coverage, capacity and reliability across Upolu and Savaii. It has also included increased fibre connectivity across key network sites, core network upgrades, and expanded backup power capability. Together, these enhancements have strengthened Digicel Samoa's network to support growing customer demand for voice and data services across Samoa.

From supporting communication in remote villages to enabling online learning, business operations and access to information, digital connectivity continues to play an important role in everyday life across Samoa. The improved connectivity across Samoa enables people and businesses to stay connected to family, customers and communities.
