1.    What are the TV Plans?

The 2 main plans on Digicel Play are:

3.    How often do I make payments?

The Digicel Play TV Plan is a monthly plan and payments for the FULL monthly subscription should be made once a month (on the date of installation).

You can also purchase on your phone using your credit balance on short code.

Note that expiry date changes from time to time depending on the top up date, not precisely the date of installation from the previous month.

4.    What is the short code and how do I do that?

  1. Dial *515#

  2. Enter Box Number

  3. Select Plan- Enter Number of Preferred Plan

  4. Buy Plan- Enter 1 to Confirm

  5. Exit Short Menu- Enter N to Exit

3.    Are there any other fees apart from the Plans?

No, installation is free.

4.    How many days am I paying for- how is monthly described in the monthly plans?

Monthly= 30 days (counting from Activation Date).

5.    If I am on an existing monthly plan- then decide to purchase another monthly plan on short code in the middle of the month, for example on the 20th day, will I lose out on the last 10 days of my plan?

Yes. You will have to be watchful of your 30 days and to note down the specific END dates for each month.

6.    Can I swap between plans ($39) and ($89) in the middle or anytime of the month?

Yes you are able to. The original plan will then be voided and new plan will activate for the next 30 days.

7.    Where can I make payments?

Monthly Subscription fees can be made at any Digicel Retail Outlets or Main Office, Level 2 at SNPF Plaza. Important Notice: Payments will take up to 24 hours to reflect in the billing system, please ensure that payments are made well in advance.

8.    Can I request for certain channels for any of these plans?

No these plans are standard and they cannot be swapped around.

9.    What is the timeframe and who will install the equipment?

Standard installation period of 10 working days (2 weeks) applies.

10.    If I have been disconnected for a period of time, can I sign up again? Will I be able to use the existing equipment if I hadn’t returned it? or if I had lost the equipment how much do I Pay?

Yes. You can reconnect with the special cost of $59 tala after confirming that you have all the equipment.

If you have lost the equipment the costs are as follows:

  • Set-top box Replacement with remote and charger - Purchase -$150.00 

  • Digicel STB Charger- $40.00

  • Digicel Remote control without batteries- $50.00

  • 1.2m Dish full kit with mounting (does not include cable and LNB) – without installation- $150.00 

If all or most items are lost or damaged, the it is advised that customer needs to sign up for a new activation.

  • Free Installation applies when customer subscribes to the Premium Plan of $89 tala for 25 Channels.

  • $40 Installation Fee applies when customer subscribes to the Lite Plan of $39 tala for 15 Channels.

  • Customers can reactivate their TV Accounts with the special $59 Package. Package is only available to customers who have been inactive and still have the dish and box with them. Available only to customers that have been inactive and wish to reconnect their TV.

1.    What are the packages offered for DigicelTV App?

There are two (2) packages, the Basic Package which includes 6 channels + 6 local channels which total up to 12 channels. The Premium Package has 24 channels + 6 local channels which total up to 30 channels. See below the list of channel for each package;

2.    How will I be able to watch these channels?

The Basic package is free by default and available to everyone. Free data will be offered with your Prime bundle to use for the DTV App.

To watch premium channels, you would have to buy a Premium plan which comes with additional data.

3.    How to ACTIVATE & ACCESS DigicelTV App Premium Channels?

MyDigicel App - Open app & click ‘Plans & Bundles’ > Click on ‘Available Plans’ tab & select ‘DTV Premium Plans’ > Pick a Premium plan & activate > Once activation SMS is received, login to DTV app & stream.

USSD *123# > Open phone keypad and Dial *123# > Enter 7 ‘DTV Premium’ & Send > Pick a Premium plan & activate > Once activation SMS is received, login to DTV app & stream.

4.    Will the channels I see on PlayGo be available on the new Digicel TV App?

Yes, channels that were on PlayGo will also be available on DTV App with more added to the list.

5.    Why are there two (2) launch dates?

The launching of the new DTV App will be done in two (2) phases. Phase One, will be the integration of the sports, news & entertainment channels and will be available for streaming by the 1st July.

Phase Two, will be the integration of all the local channels on DTV and will be available on app by 1st August.

6.    Why are the local channels only available on the 1st August 2022?

The local channels require more time to be integrated into the new app, therefore will only be available by the 1st of August, this transition time may be shorter and Digicel will notify all customers should the integration complete earlier than anticipated.

7.    How can I download the Digicel TV App?

It is available for download on PlayStore and AppStore.

8.    Is DigcelTV available to both prepaid and postpaid subscribers to use?

Yes, both prepaid and postpaid subscribers can download and use the DTV App.

9.    What is the difference between the PlayGo App and the DTV App?

The new DTV App will have 30 channels in comparison to PlayGo it had 21 channels. DTV App offers a more improved user experience, more content such American Football League (AFL), NRL, NRC, State of Origin and will also be broadcasting the Birmingham Commonwealth 2022 and so much more for the family and kids.

10.    Why is the PlayGo App transitioning to Digicel TV App?

Digicel aim to give our customers the best experience when streaming sports, news, favourite TV shows on their phones anytime and anywhere. In this regard, Digicel has decided to step away from the PlayGo app and offer a more improved mobile application with a wide selection of channels and content to choose from.

11.    Will I need to delete the PlayGo app from my phone and download the new Digicel TV App?

Yes, all users with the PlayGo app are advised to remove (uninstall) PlayGo and download the new Digicel TV App available in PlayStore and AppStore.

12.    Will I still be able to use my PlayGo data until the 30th June?

Yes, if you are currently on a plan with allocated PlayGo data you will be able use your bundle until expiry date.

13.    What device operating system is DTV App compatible on?

Operating Systems compatible to download app are, Android 5 or higher and IOS 11 or higher.

14.    Is Digicel TV App the same as DigiTV?

No, Digicel TV App is independent and is the replacement of the PlayGo application. This is meant to be used on mobile’s only.

Digicel TV license and content rights are different to that of DTV App. The content and channels may differ. There would be some channel’s and content which would be identical.

15.    What is NEW on Digicel TV App?

All local radio stations that were on GoLoud are now available on DigicelTV App:
