MyCash has updated its compliance requirements to ensure a secure, reliable, and fully compliant mobile wallet experience for all customers.

Update Your TIN Apply / Retrieve TIN (FRCS)

Overview

Under the latest directives issued by FRCS and RBF, all MyCash customers must:

  • Submit a valid Tax Identification Number (TIN) by 31 December 2025
  • Have no more than two (2) MyCash accounts registered under their name

The sections below explain what these requirements mean and how you can stay compliant.

1. TIN Requirement for All Mobile Wallet Holders

Deadline: 31 December 2025
  • All customers must have a valid TIN recorded against their MyCash profile.
  • If no TIN was provided during SIM registration, it must be submitted before MyCash signup.
  • Existing customers must update their TIN online using the approved form.
  • Accounts will be suspended after 31 Dec 2025 until a valid TIN is verified.
  • Ensures compliance with FRCS regulations

  1. Enter your MyCash account number (registered mobile number).
  2. Enter your Tax Identification Number (TIN).
  3. Submit the form.

"TIN already exists" – A TIN is already verified. Contact Customer Care if you need to update it.

"TIN updated successfully" – Your account is now compliant.

2. Multiple Accounts Requirement

Under RBF Directive 40, each customer is allowed a maximum of two (2) MyCash accounts.

  • Customers must keep only two active accounts.
  • Extra accounts will be closed.
  • Balances will be transferred by Customer Care.
  • Inactive accounts (180+ days, $0 balance) may be closed automatically.
  • Reduces fraud and misuse
