MYCASH ACCOUNTS

Managing your MyCash Accounts
We’re encouraging all MyCash customers to review and consolidate their accounts now to stay secure and compliant.
If you have more than two MyCash accounts under your name, please decide which ones you’d like to keep and close any additional accounts.
This ensures your preferred accounts remain active and are not removed as part of ongoing system clean-ups in line with the Reserve Bank of Fiji’s requirements.
You can take action today by calling 123 or checking your MyCash app on various devices.
Overview
To meet the Reserve Bank of Fiji’s Directive 40 under the National Payment System Regulations 2022, MyCash is updating customer account requirements.
Each customer must hold a maximum of two (2) MyCash accounts registered under their name. This helps us keep your financial information safe, ensure compliance with national regulations, and provide a better, more secure experience for all customers.
1. Multiple Accounts
If you currently hold more than two MyCash accounts:
You’ll need to decide which two accounts to keep.
Any additional accounts will be closed.
If you do not take action, we’ll contact you to confirm which accounts you want to retain.
2. Inactive Accounts
Any accounts with access of two e-wallets that have been inactive for more than 180 days and have a zero balance will be automatically closed.
This is a regulatory requirement to maintain two e-wallets to ensure all registered accounts remain active, verified, and compliant.
3. Accounts with Balances
Any accounts with access of two e-wallets that you no longer use still has a balance, our Customer Care team will reach out to help you consolidate the funds into your preferred active account before closure.
